Pacing is whiplash. It’s clear they want to get to certain set pieces in the story (3 major fights) but are obligated to wrap story and exposition around it. As it is, because of this “tacked on” feel, the story feels flimsy and just and excuse for “Hulk smash” and yet they try so hard during those exposition parts and fail so spectacularly.
It’s science mumbo jumbo... character development... science mumbo jumbo... Army Man mumbo jumbo... FIGHT! *rinse and repeat*
