Absolutely none of the dialogue is realistic, which is Lanthimos' shtick, but I think it's detrimental because that weird style would be a lot more effective from the main antagonist if everyone else weren't talking the same way...
I think there's a better movie in there if Lanthimos came up with the story and then let someone else actually write and direct it.
