Felt I needed to see Coco to keep my Spanish speaker card. It was sooo cute.

Not the funniest or most action-packed Pixar release. But it hit a boatload of right references and themes for Mexicans, IMO. I have a Mexican side of my family now, and I know they're gonna love it in a "if I wanna see a movie with my grandma" kind of way.

It seems like a film that really needed to be made. Now there's another great movie to go to for anyone who wants to get a clue just what the deal is with these Mexicans. No token white kid character as a totem for general audiences to latch onto either. This film is a Mexicaneria. :)
