So yeah, that actually IS a problem. Either I need to:

A) Fix the latch on the window
B) Buy/Cut a dowel to possibly be used as a brace
C) Call maintenance next Monday when they get back from the holiday and get them to fix it.
D) Adopt a scary dog
E) Get a gun

Welp, I live in Texas which is in America, so obviously the answer is E.... twice.
