it's much more likely that as jahlil okafor has already shown that he isn't that good that he'll also never get much better...

better to take a shot at a cheaper potential player who has skills for the way the game is now. i'd much rather have say a 3 and d guy like semi ojeleye than some guy whose game has already been shown to be a space clogger on offense and indifferent on defense.
