seen before. In the past they always couched this in a tax cut that benefitted everyone (but just the rich at a higher rate). This time they are pulled in so many directions by so many different constituencies, that they have come up with something that actually raises taxes on many middle class and obviously hurts the poor (and I think with all the other Trump stuff it's getting reported more accurately this time). So I'm reserving my optimism as a whole for more proof, but I think this particular plan is unpopular and will hurt them.
