I finally saw trailers for Ferdinand and Peter Rabbit... why does Hollywood like to crap in the mouth of wonderful childhood stories?

It's like they looked at the cover of the book, and started writing from there. What. the. hell. I heard the same song in Ferdinand as you hear in the SmartWater commercial.
