Ripple is kinda weird in the world of cryptocurrencies. It isn't like Bitcoin at all in that respect

It is almost entirely controlled by a single entity and designed to destroy itself with every transaction. Not sure how I feel about it as an investment. It potentially has no value upside since it isn't a "currency" in the same way Bitcoin and others are trying to be.
