Hawkeye has always been set up as a character that audiences are meant to connect with. He’s also always been written with a bit of foreshadowing of bad stuff possibly happening. Personally, I don’t think that has worked out as well as the writers intended - he just seems out of place. Anyway, lots of the characters have specific colours associated with them ...
