*bangs head on desk* Spawn, you'll probably feel my pain

I had a tenant call me to tell me that the exterior and garage electrical outlets were not working when he tried to plug in his Christmas lights. He assured me that the lights work when plugged into an outlet inside the house. Next, I made him promise me that he had already checked the breaker box. He swore he did.

I then said that the next step would be to check for tripped GFI on one of the outlets that would have killed the circuit. He told me that he looked and none of the outlets had GFIs. I asked if he was sure and he told me he was. I then dispatched an electrician.

The electrician just texted me. It was a tripped GFI. He said he showed the tenant how to reset them and "I just emailed you my invoice."

There is $72.50 down the crapper.
