A lot of earmarks did a lot of good. Thanks to Oregon's Congressional representatives, we have a lot of institutions that benefit Oregon, the region, and the country -- a wing at Oregon Health Sciences University, a prominent marine science center on the coast, and a world renown regional mass transit system.
And a lot of Republicans brought home the bacon in a good way, too -- agricultural research centers, rural health clinics, and job training programs at community colleges all across the Pacific Northwest.
But that thing ty found ... ye gods ... .
