With that reasoning anyone that drinks alcohol shouldn't be allowed to own a gun. Why aren't we taking away their guns too? Drunk people are way more

Except it's not beyond dispute and that's actually way more likely with someone on things other the weed. People who are drunk are in much less control of their faculties.
