i'm not being a dick, i'm genuinely curious.

i think we've had this argument before that i trust myself to invest my money better than i trust the government.. i'd happily pay more taxes if i thought it were an effective way to use money, but it's so massively wasteful, i'd rather have a few thousand back, have more money to support charities i feel are using the money well.
