The most surprising thing for me is that Spawn would've still made the playoffs if we played every team every week.

He would have been the 8th seed, but he would have made it.
Until the last 2 weeks he didn't have a single team score 110 against him. He did have 7 teams fail to score 100 against him, 4 of them failing to reach 90.
Contrast that with nubby. His karmic retribution for beating me week one was decisive. It was his only win of the season. Teams failed to score 100 against him only 3 times. Teams topped 110 against him 7 times (and came a tenth of a point away from doing so an eighth time). Three of those were over 140, and another over 130. When a team did score under 100 against him? He lost one by a point and a half, I got my revenge with a 1 point win, and the Rams put up 51 on his Giants defense in a matchup he would have won had he just left his defense spot empty.
There are two lessons from this. The first is that Spawn has figured out a way to consistently get the easiest schedule in Astronauts, or very close to it. The more important lesson is that if you face me week one next year you're probably better off if I win.
