The vacuum is why you can survive - there is nothing to conduct the heat away from you. Compare sticking your hands in -40 deg air (uncomfortable but not dangerous) vs -40 deg fluid (close to instant surface frostbite, mere seconds to third degree) since there's stuff to continually pull away the heat.
Re: pressure, humans aren't balloons. Your lungs world arguably collapse but that's the extent of the pressure issue.
