I disagree. If he had dove to make the catch, had it in his hands, knees hit but when the ball hits the ground, it came out, it wouldn’t be a catch.

He didn’t catch it and THEN dive for the endzone. He was falling as his caught it so he has to actually catch the ball which means controlling it all the way. He didn’t do that.
