yeah, going from a small firm (less than 10 people) to here was eye opening on how much it helps to have

people who help research, or help develop things nationally. Before it was me reading a GAAP guide, and then trying to understand/implement it without any support.
There is also that issue with competition. Probably a good 25% of the tax department here has a side gig. probably 15-20% of the audit side as well where they are doing the books for others.
