I have, a partner tried but it didnt work because they got promoted to running the whole audit dept

and now has barely enough time to do that work and his normal job without the mentor work.
His one time protege was more interested in finding her own protege than trying to work with someone a decade older than her (her words). and she has since left, for a job at a client.
