I’d clarify that ripple as in XRP doesn’t have the support of banks. Banks don’t use XRP except indirectly. They use ripple tech for transfers.

The bank support of ripple tech doesn’t translate to bank support for XRP, and the fortunes of XRP and ripple as a company are reasonably separate.
I’d generally agree that it’s a huge speculative opportunity, and that it’s risky as fuck. As long as people go in with their eyes open and are aware, then have at it.
I don’t think it’s a currency revolution though. It needs a lot of fundamental changes before it gets close to that, and banks have a lot invested in if not preventing that, then taking the useful parts and streamlining their current system.
