not the manufacturers of the appliances, but if I had a white fridge, and stainless steel everything else, I'd at least make a note that I'm going to strongly want a new fridge with it's resulting cost.
A carpet...national average on fixr is about $5 per square foot ($1300 on 256sq ft)...let's say the entire upstairs would need replacing --- $3-4k ... that's legitimate money to many people.
And never overestimate people's desire to be helpful -- "Not interested. No feedback" = drives people nuts .... "Not interested - carpet isn't uniform" = some reason, even if it's just something.
