at times, I'm sure; but there's also a lot of good w/r/t how many people they know they've helped and hope for more. -- nm

b. trivia: exposure as a kidlet to a gay teenage son of a friend of my mom's, and trying to get my mom to explain why he felt so bad about being gay that he tried to kill himself (she offered no good explanation, of course) is what started my lifelong support.
