XFL football to return in 2020.

A new report says that Vince McMahon is targeting a 2020 return for the XFL. PWInsider reports that the plan is to have the league officially return in 2020, in order to give time to build the proper infrastructure. This would include the hiring of coaches and players, and more. This is a distinct change from the original league, which was lauched within a year of its official announcement.

The news comes after McMahon founded Alpha Entertainment late last year in order to “explore investment opportunities across the sports and entertainment landscapes, including professional football.”
