The article addresses, to a degree, what happens at Disney if Lasseter doesn't return.

It's not pretty. A single head of all animation would be best (so the Pete Docter rumors are good), but splitting animation among multiple people, with co-heads and Pixar Animation *AND* more co-heads at Disney Animation is just inviting disaster. Meanwhile, the folks at Blue Sky should just cash in their severance checks and start looking for new jobs.
