I hesitated to call DirecTV yesterday after the battle I had with AT&T last week. Spoke to Peter - he walked me through

a problem I'd been having, gave me ammunition to deal with AT&T, and agreed to send me a new remote at no charge because "you've been a customer since 2001 and there are very few notes on your file so you've never asked for anything before" !!

We then chatted about cats for a few minutes.

The remote arrived today !!

I believe I told Peter I loved him before we said goodbye :)
