a young'ish backend top 10 QB, a 3rd round pick, and a 3rd year quality cost-effective Cornerback for

a 34 year old QB coming off a career year that was only marginally better than your incumbent...

And then you paid the new guy money that is only a slight step below what the other guy should have been given anyhow.

But hey, we can get a 3rd round compensation pick (if we don't sign another free agent to lose it) so really...Smith for Cousins, the cheap CB, and a 3rd rounder.

That shit would get vetoed in 95% of leagues.
