as a direct competitor (2015-2017), he's got 2000 less yards and 20 less TD passes.

their rates might be similar, but actual yards and TD's are what win games; not "Rating"

We refused to pay a younger, more productive QB and instead gave up a cheap good CB (knowing our #2 CB is leaving), and a 3rd round pick.

At best, Alex Smith and Cousins are equals (both avg 97 QB Ratings and 64 QBR's over the last 3 years) -- we let the younger guy walk for nothing other than compensation we'll likely lose when we need to sign the CB's replacement.

if this was a deal in a fantasy league, it would be rejected.
