Diet lifestyling, there seems to be 2 opposite but functionally effective paths. Low fat vegan,OR no carb.

Both work. Going vegan low fat is the more responsible and cheaper. I did it for almost a year, cut cholesterol in half, literally. lost a ton of weight. But living on 15, 20 grams of fat a day is hard to keep to. I mean a bowl of oatmeal has 4 5 grams.
Then there is the low carb. A lot more expensive, kinda of a diet of privilege. You are not filling your plate with fillers, grains are not much better than sugars. Now 8t flies in the face of almost every thing we know, yeah eat bacon with everything, hell gargle with olive oil. So basically I double up on the veggies and skip the potato or pasta.
The bad news for both. ..there is no pizza, yeah sure, some crap substitutions
