When I buy an item over 10 bucks on Amazon I always do a Google search to make sure the price is not cheaper elsewhere.

Now if it's 3 dollars cheaper but across town I take the convenience. If it's an item I want now, I use them to get Best Buy to match it.
Prime is the best deal period for us end of story. I stream my music there, we watch some shows there, get free deliveries, etc etc etc.
I would pay $249 a year for Prime and still consider it money well spent.
