Why in the hell would the WWE be wanting a longer contract for a guy approaching 40?

1) he's likely to start aging and be less useful
2) if rumors are true and you wish to sell, why would you want a longer contract obligation
3) as good as he is, he isn't a game-changer to an outside competitor
