Nellie's used to be great, and I have no problem with straight people in a gay bar, there's a bit more here:

I am fine with straight folks coming (sometimes my straight friends join me). But realize you are a guest. It's not a place to gawk, or grab people you don't know. Basically Nellie's was a gay sports bar that gentrified the neighborhood. It has now become a bachelorette bar. It's basically gaggles of women coming to scream and yell at the DJ to play pop music. Last time I was there the line was 2 men, 13 girls.
