Heh - sounds like they were grossed out about cleaning up any bird poo

Training the bird to poo on command is a pretty good thing - especially if it flies around a lot. When we had a bird, we would find poo in all sorts of interesting places.
I would have selected somewhere else though - maybe on a special perch, which had paper underneath
