Weird to say, but I hope this isn’t a teacher with a liberal background trying to prove a point with a stunt.

I feel like that would be counterproductive.
I also hate that I’m saying ‘I hope it turns out that this teacher is just crazy’.
Not a good situation regardless of reason.
