I don't recall an Oscars that was more boring or more useless.

The circle jerk of #metoo contrasted with Kobe Bryant's applause -- guh.

*name drop a woman* Wild applause! So predictably self-congratulatory.

Jane Fonda somehow sucking all the air out of the room in the minute she was on stage...guh.

Frances McDormand is a great actress, but she leaves me completely cold with her speeches. It's like the harshest activist stuff without the foundation.

Oldman's speech was pretty nice but he had months to get it perfect. I loved Peele's speech. Given his accomplishment, he was still so cool.

And then the winners, spread out all over the place but at least they didn't have a case where one movie won up and down the card except Best Picture like last year.

Even Kimmel's stunt this year was meh.

Best part was the Jodie Foster / JLawrence stuff with Meryl. Meryl is the new Jack in the front row.
