I'm super uncomfortable with having someone who clearly has issues that need to be addressed, likely beyond alcohol, on air. -- (edited)

ethical, maybe.
the right thing to do when a fellow human is failing, notsomuch.
(not the first time I've had thoughts like this - britney spears back in the day, russell hantz's nephew on "survivor" that made me stop watching the show, etc.)
ed. to add: I know the dude's history, and I think he's been horrid at times (use of n-word he had to apologize for and much more). doesn't change the feeling.
