You are paying a guy who caught less than 40 yards per game, top 5 money. There's not a single logic thread that makes that work.

Watkins is a multi-year veteran, who's yearly stats are 50 catches and 700 yards.
He played 15 games this year, and had less than 40 catches.
Paying him much money at all is bad, independent of who else you have on your team. He was 64th in yards, 87th in targets, 157th in catch percentage, 16th in ypc, 8th in TD's, 114th in catches per game, and 72nd in yards per game...
he's a perfectly serviceable depth wide receiver. he's not worth big money.
