As I mentioned yesterday, the lawsuit claims he was turned away on 3/3 and yet the policy didn't go into effect on 3/6.

The store policy is that an associate has a right to deny any sale for any reason if they get a bad feeling about it. This being before the age policy goes into effect the associate can say they turned him down because they didn't feel good about the sale and they used the policy as an excuse (as it didn't go into effect on 3/6).
