no signs of ick, fin rot, or anything else on him. i tried to introduce a second cichild to the tank recently, but the palmy little bastard already has his 'territory' set up and the new fishy hid out almost exclusively behind the filter, coming out only when he dared at feeding time ... the new fishy didn't make it long, but evidence suggested the first 'established' fish did him in. anyway, my cichlid has been going strong for a couple weeks now and seems fine and healthy ,,,

i just don't know what this white powdery-like stuff is that's floating around on the surface
