i meant the service agreements and such, not financing; but it did pay to have done my financing research ahead of time.

it turned out that there wasn't that much benefit for me to pay cash, so i financed part of it. they ended up offering a rate that beat my credit union's excellent one by quite a bit (which also happened with my last car). woo! and it's fantastic that it's all simple loans now (at least as presented to me).
the whole finance office thing made me and my sister (we've bought multiple cars with eachother along) laugh; and my comments about it made the guy laugh, too. they know it's a game. eventually, he just started sliding without as much back and forth. me: "as if by magic, the firm numbers drop." so silly.
there are articles out there re: pros/cons of 0% loans, btw.
