There's no doubt that growing up in this city has helped make me the loving, caring far left liberal that I am today. :-)

My parents are/were conservative so there's a good chance that if I grew up in a rural area I'd have little influences outside of them and my friends who would also likely come from conservative families. I'm pretty sure growing up here is a good reason why I'm where I am today politically.

I don't know why that matters in my opinion of not wanting the Yankees to play games overseas where it'll be more difficult for the real Yankees fans to watch the game. And again, they don't give a shit about baseball and we should be focusing on the places that do like Canada and Mexico. I'd love to see a team in Mexico in the next few years and after that look into expanding to maybe a Central or South American country.
