It's part of a larger issue with the internet today. People stretch facts and truths to support any nonsensical argument.

SB is well aware that what happened was shady af. He posted that article to (let's be honest) troll a bit and also to create a shred of doubt in some that maybe it's fine that this company did something so wildly unethical and flat out dangerous.
