Does your employer offer "jury hours" as in you still get paid if you get called for jury duty?

I have jury duty next week and personally I'm hoping I miss the whole week from work. Don't know why jury duty gets such a bad rap.
Of course, if I wasn't still getting paid, I might feel differently.

I think I get three days, and I have to give any government money back to the company for those. -- nm

Yes, for state trials. We don't for federal trials (due to the conflict of interest), and we can't accept subsidies for jury service, but ...

I think our office jury policy is "get out of it".

I don't know. In 20+ years living here, I was called to jury duty *once* in like 1995.
