Alda's retort to Tracy Jordan crying over a chicken and a baby (his high school traumatic incident) is a direct reference to the MASH series finale when Hawkeye (Alda) is in therapy talking abotu the Korean woman on the bus who killed a squawking chicken when enemy troops were nearby. But he soon revealed the chicken was actually the woman's baby.
