I've been using it for about 6 months, and I'm pretty impressed. The interest rate is decent, and while I wouldn't call it a retirement vehicle, I've found it an incredibly useful tool for saving up for specific purchases.

The self-shill part is that they're running a promotion this month: if I refer 5 friends who start investing this month, I get a monetary referral bonus and Acorns will donate to the $1 per friend to the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.
