I may have mentioned this before here - homeless looking dude outside asked for money, I said no but I'd buy him a coffee. we go inside and he asked "can I have whipped cream on it" with a pleading-kid look (they charge extra), I grinned at him and said ok.
an employee saw me with the guy and laughed - it was clear he was a regular, they even knew his special order; and the employee said he'd take care of it and made the guy his special drink on the house.
dude must have been super-buzzy-caffeinated. ;) -
