Yeah, it can change relatively often, but it changes based on the forecast. So if the forecast is off, so is in-game weather.

Sometime was guestimating that they may pull forecasts ever 6 hours.

Niantic has also told people that they use weather info for 'their general area'

I love when it's raining in pogo and not in real life.
