which is fine.
What I'm getting at is why the need for ordinary qualities for people in the most extraordinary positions? Or even more accurately...what makes an ordinary quality seemingly so highly prized. For the person running everything I want the most extra ordinary person we can find. I don't want someone I can normally identify with. The only identification I want is to see that person and be so outrageously impressed by several characteristics that it makes me feel intimidated.
I don't mean this line of question pejoratively but the conversations around Palin have made me wonder what identify with her has to do with much of anything.
