Spider-man got an Iron Man suit at some point. He was referred to as the “Iron Spider” and, yes, he had the spider legs.
Now, let’s be frank, we’re trying to apply logic to a comic book character, but what some “likes” and what “makes sense” are two different things. Here’s a kid bitten by a radioactive spider who gets abilities such as strength and stickiness but can’t spin webs and doesn’t grow extra limbs or eyes. If this universe includes a super genius who can build suits of armor, why shouldn’t that super genius build, for this magic kid, a suit with spider legs?
