I don't know...just try to do anything to conceal that characters like Spiderman and Black Panther might not have sequels coming.

Even though Panther made eleventy gazillion dollars and a sequel is a lock - it could have helped them to not be so quick to announce it, if they knew part of their plan was to disintegrate T'Challa in Infinity War.
