No, but apparently fans aren't the only ones that have conspiracies. Owners complained that double digit numbers would weigh more and change the odds

Same with team logos on the ping pong balls. Some teams logos have more ink than others, changing the weight of the ball even fractionally.
That's why they only use the single digit numbers and the number combinations to determine the teams now.
Crazy.
