Someone give me a quick primer on Alexa for Tivo.

1 - Does it work with most/any Tivo or just the new "Vox" model?

2 - What commands can I send to Tivo?

3 - Since I don't have any Echo devices, can I just open up the Amazon app on my phone and give the Alexa commands through there, or do I need an Echo?
